Applications are now open for Bridge, a designer-in-residence program that connects experienced designers with top startups in the San Francisco Bay Area.
New startups Rdio, Healthtap, Flipboard, and Change.org are joining existing partners Airbnb, Pinterest, Dropbox, Path and Asana to help designers learn what it takes to run successful companies and ship great products. All of these companies have a great mission, product and culture that truly values design.
How it works:
Designers apply and once selected, choose which startup to join. Designers work fulltime at their startup and once a week participate in talks and workshops with a community of exceptional designers for 3 months. After Bridge, designers may continue working with their startup or join another company. The Bridge Fall session will run from September 24 – December 17, 2013. Designers can start working with their startup before the Fall or apply now for future sessions in 2014.
