[GIG] Disability Rights App Developer

Disability Rights App Developer
Filmmaker Alice Elliott is looking to develop an app on the history of disability rights. She’s currently looking for funding and partners but this can certainly be an interesting project and opportunity for someone who would like to also work on it for internship credit. Contact her directly at Alice Elliott <welcomechangealice@gmail.com>
and let her know that you’re an ITP student who read it on the list.
Marainne
I’m a doc filmmaker teaching at Tisch in the Film School and have an interest in disability rights and people with disabilities.
I’m interested in creating an app that uses story telling through sound, video, stills and text to take people through a journey into the history of disability rights.  This “time traveling” app would allow you in an experiential way to visit sites, and interact with landmarks.  I’m somewhat familiar with Murder at Harvard, but would to know other examples of story telling apps that play with history.
I can forward you copies of my films which you can stream.  They include The Collector of Bedford Street, nominated for an Academy Award, and Body & Soul: Diana & Kathy, an award winning film that played on PBS.
