Part-Time Student Position Available – Spring 2014 + Possibly Into Summer:

Front-End Developer/Web Content Assistant

The Office of Digital Communications seeks to fill a part-time position to handle the following tasks:

Assist with web-related projects, including, but not limited to: creation and editing of HTML emails and forms, using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript; updating web display templates within DigiComm’s content management system, Adobe CQ5.

The position is available immediately and will run through the end of the spring semester with a possible extension into summer, and beyond, if eligible.

Qualifications: Must be enrolled NYU student, and should have proficiency in current web technologies. Able to self-organize and work independently. Willingness to work with media and clerical tasks as well as coding.

Technical qualifications: HTML5 and CSS3, JavaScript (JQuery and other JS libraries a plus). Photoshop/Illustrator proficiency, and ability to hand code valid HTML/CSS from provided PSD files.

Salary/hrs:  ~$15/hr, dependent upon qualifications and experience; up to 15 hours per week (work schedule can be flexible to accommodate class hours) + extra time over breaks available, if desired.
