sepiaEYE Gallery is looking for an intern for the fall-winter. sepiaEYE is an exhibition space in Chelsea that specializes in modern and
contemporary photography and video work from Asia. We are seeking a motivated and personable intern who is looking to gain experience in a gallery setting. Must be able to commit to a minimum of two days per week.
Duties will include:
– Assisting directors with day to day gallery operations
– Organization and maintenance of digital database and records
– Supporting current exhibition and organizing future exhibitions and catalogues
– General administrative duties
Art History, Museum Studies, or Fine Arts background with knowledge of contemporary art is preferred. Must be comfortable working with MS Office, and Adobe Suite proficiency is a plus. Internship will be unpaid – we can offer academic credit and letters of recommendation.
