[JOB] Arts & Technology Policy Fellow, Fractured Atlas

We’re pleased to announce that with thegenerous support of the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation, Fractured Atlas is now hiring an arts and technology policy fellow.

The Robert W. Deutsch Fellowship in Arts & Technology Policy is responsible for raising awareness and community engagement on federal policy at the intersection of the arts and communications policy. The Fellow will be located at Public Knowledge in Washington, DC for the duration of a two-year program.

FELLOWSHIP STRUCTURE

The Fellow will be located within the offices of Public Knowledge, and will receive support and guidance from its staff.  While the Fellow is expected to do independent policy work and development, the Fellow will receive hands-on mentoring and opportunities to participate in strategy, analysis, and work related to legislative and regulatory policy making.  The Fellow will be supervised by the Vice President, Policy Strategy Center, and will meet regularly with a primary Public Knowledge mentor/team leader.  The mentor/team leader will guide the Fellow in setting out an approach to the work and identifying policy issues, meetings, and outside contacts. The Fellow will work within a Public Knowledge team assigned to specific policy issues.

The Fellow will be an employee of and ultimately report to Fractured Atlas, including a monthly one-on-one meeting and participation in Fractured Atlas staff meetings, professional development programs, and other opportunities. (The Fellow will be connected through videoconference when in-person attendance is impractical.)
