Betaworks is looking for a couple of students to do quality assurance for the products we’re building in the studio, such as Digg, Dots, and Instapaper. Ideal candidates are freshman or sophomore Computer Science students (or the ITP equivalent – essentially, pretty new programmers) with an eye for detail, and interest in working with early beta software in a startup environment. Students would be expected to come to Betaworks 1-2 days per week for a few hours, but would work on a flexible schedule and some of the work can be done from home. This is a paid internship.
In the past, Betaworks has tracked young Computer Science students from QA to summer interns doing software development at the studio companies.
Betaworks is always looking for all kinds of interns, so if you’re interested in something besides QA we’d love to hear from you too.
If anyone is interested, they can reach me via email at maya@betaworks.com.
