Open Road Integrated Media is seeking a full-time web and interaction designer to facilitate the development of products and features across it websites and internal platforms. Candidate should have a strong design sense, the ability to execute, and an understanding of the interplay between web technologies and design/usability best practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and design mockups
• Understand and work around technical and time-bound constraints to create feasible and iterative designs.
• Execute designs and layouts with proficiency, including iconography, color schemes, interface features and transitions.
• Translate feedback and data into ongoing usability enhancements.
• Perform proofing and QA of own work to ensure logical, user consistency.
• Stay current on design trends and technology to advise the product roadmap.

Required

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field is preferred.
• Must have demonstrable skills in wireframe creation and experience with the Adobe CC suite at a minimum.
• Must have knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and modern web frameworks and technologies.
• Should have experience with responsive design products and mobile application design.
• Must have a portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for UI design, as well as consumer-facing interfaces/designs.
