INSTRUCTOR 92Y summer camp / VIDCODE
92Y is running two intensive Vidcode workshops for their summer camp this year (teaching JavaScript through creative video projects). One for 10-12 year olds and another for 11-14 year olds. They will be 1-2 weeks each and will be scheduled sometime between July and mid-August. They are asking for recommendations for instructors and are looking for people with substantial teaching experience. Shoot me an email if you have K12 teaching experience and are interested in teaching the workshops! I’ll put you in touch with 92Y for the next steps.
Great opportunity to teach JavaScript and pixel processing to youth. No prior experience teaching CS required, but rather experience teaching and running a K12 classroom. Added plus to have arts/ film background.
Vidcode is an online interactive platform where teenagers can build video filters, stop motion animations, and computer vision projects with Javascript through guided lessons.
