Interactive Objects position
The Visual Art Program at Sarah Lawrence College seeks an artist/programmer for a half-time (two-day), guest appointment in Interactive Objects beginning Fall 2015. One-year appointment, up to three-year renewal. Course work should introduce students to programming environments used to support physical interaction. Basic understanding of sensors, hardware, code environments, object interaction and devices that connect to the physical world, how to gather and process sensor data and how to create project documentation and diagrams for their work. Candidates should be working artists with teaching experience.
