Wisconsin Media Lab is looking for a driven producer with a strong background in interactive media design and a deep passion for public media and education. As a producer for Wisconsin Media Lab you will develop and manage the production of interactive educational media for use in Wisconsin’s K-12 schools. Working with internal staff, education experts, and outside contractors, the producer will design interactive media and manage every aspect of its production, from initial concept development to final project launch.

What We Need
We need a producer who can elegantly incorporate educational goals into the design of interactive media projects. We need a producer with extensive knowledge of emerging interactive media platforms and technology, user interface design, and user testing procedures. We need a producer who effectively manages a complex media project from start to finish, and displays excellent organizational and communication skills. We need a creative team player who can assist other producers to troubleshoot production issues and collaborate to brainstorm innovative future projects.

About You

About us
Wisconsin Media Lab, a division of the Educational Communications Board (ECB), provides educational media to Wisconsin’s K-12 teachers and students online at WIMediaLab.org in cooperation with Wisconsin Public Television, Milwaukee Public Television, and WDSE-Duluth. We produce video, interactive media, and other media assets designed specifically for use in K-12 learning. Our award-winning resources align to academic standards and span all curricular areas.

Salary
The starting salary range is $46,917 – $48,500. This is an unclassified state position.
