At The Barbarian Group we believe that the next big idea can come from anyone including the emerging talent from colleges around world. For this reason, we develop a rigorous internship program each summer. Our highly competitive, 10-week program provides interns with the chance to gain the best hands-on experience in virtually every area of a fast paced digital creative agency. We treat our interns like staff, and if you’ve got the chops, you’ll be given opportunities far beyond your typical internship program.

More specifically – I’m looking to pull a couple people from the applicant pool for a small in-house research group at the agency. The focus will be on rapidly responding to current events with work that pointedly addresses emerging cultural and technological trends and attempts to predict the reactions several layers deep. The aim is to be consistently and actively engaged with moments of cultural, technological, and social significance in order to deeply understand, and guide, the conversation. Think F.A.T. Lab style speed projects – simple but sharp executions that can be produced quickly.
