QA ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a key role in a NYC-based mobile tech startup reporting to the CTO. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Integrating yourself into the existing Agile development workflow to plan and write test cases, conduct tests, provide test result reports, and implement test automation.
Manage the Jira release notes that list all issues to be included in a Release, assign QA test status for all issues, and manage closing out issues once deployed and verified in production.
Perform pre-release staging environment and post production user-acceptance and regression testing.
Confirm reproducibility of bugs filed by our operations team and assist the engineering team in troubleshooting defects.

We are looking for a star player who can operate in a fast-paced environment. We are an Agile development shop, but we also adhere to lean startup principles, so you can expect daily code releases and continuous experimentation.
LOCATION
This position is for our New York office, but can also be located in our San Francisco office.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or alternatively, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
2+ years experience in software testing
Experience working with mobile devices as well as desktop platforms
Experience with Agile processes
Knowledge in testing rich-media ad creatives using Charles Proxy
