Senior Experience Designer
Job/Internship Description:
R/GA New York is looking for talented Senior Experience Designers to
join the growing team. At R/GA, Sr. Experience Designers are integral
to the creative process and play pivotal roles in the strategy,
conception and design of groundbreaking multi-context platforms. We
are seeking a Sr. Experience Designer who has experience connecting
customers and brands through intuitive interfaces and trans-formative
brand experiences across site, mobile and retail. Preference will be
given to people who demonstrate a combination of strategic, conceptual
and design skills
Responsibilities
Requirement gathering – including stakeholder interviews,
competitive research, technical feasibility assessments, design
explorations, strategic analysis, and consensus building with the
client.
Concepting – coming up with the key ideas that drive a project and
supporting ideas needed to implement them in various channels (TV,
print, mobile, in-store, web, out-of-home, etc.). Senior Interaction
Designer deliverables include: prototypes, proof of concept documents,
wire frames, user flows, use cases, user scenarios.
Experience Documents – includes, site maps, logic flows, wireframes,
functional specifications, data models parameters, prototypes,
keyframes.
Presentations – throughout the process, interaction designers must
present various aspects of the user experience to the development
team, clients and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance – during development, interaction designers’
track and monitor progress on development and quality of the user
experience. This often involves revising experience documents.
Knowledge, skills & experience required
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of interactive experiences, channels, and design
principles
Proficiency in underlying interactive technologies such as web and
mobile
Solid background in software development and databases
Strong presentation and written communication skills
Proven background as a creative thinker
Proven experience as a team leader and client contact
