VICE Media is seeking an experienced digital designer to join our Brooklyn, NY technology team. The person in this role will work with our existing digital designers to craft incredible UX and UI that connects VICE users to our current and future world-leading media and technology products. This design position lies within the VICE product and technology team, and works specifically on our diverse technology products—sites, apps and internal tools.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work collaboratively as a member of the digital design team, focused on functional, delightful, beautiful experiences for all VICE users.

Assist Design & UX leads in concepting and developing new products, spanning across the Vice product team portfolio.

Work with product and development team to iterate on our existing digital products, translating business requirements into elegant and innovative design solutions.

Create and maintain style guides for our digital products and lead visual QA sessions with the development team.
QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years working in a professional digital design setting

Portfolio that’s f***ing awesome

Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch

A solid understanding of how design translates across all devices–from desktop to tablet to mobile

Obsessive attention to detail

Ability to successfully work on multiple projects at once
