UX / Product Designer (NYC, NY)
Roles and Responsibilities
Troops (a venture backed, early stage startup in NYC) is looking for a exceptional UX/Product designer to help us build a next generation b2b product. In this role you will be responsible for ideating and executing on product flows, wireframes and designs while being laser focused on solutions that help solve our customer’s needs. You will be trusted to act autonomously and influence process/workflows, product direction, and even technology choices. We will encourage you to seek out and push the team to employ new ideas that fit the problem and make long term sense for the business.
Ideal candidate is a master at understanding complex processes and documenting and simplifying them, is a passionate practitioner of lean startup methodology and has a strong ability to communicate your vision with the goals of our users in mind. You have a collaborative and iterative design process. You’re focused on creating an intuitive, fast and clean user experience across any platform.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-4+ Years of experience in Interaction, Product or UX design
- Proven track record of user-centered design skills
- Previous experience working and maintaining a product with multiple iterations
- Extensive experience creating use case scenarios, user flows, wireframes and rapid prototypes
- Effective and clear communication skills, capable of explaining each design decision
