Job/Internship Title:
Hardware Engineer
Job/Internship Description:
The primary goal of this position is to provide technical (multimedia
hardware/software) support to a new applied research lab within the
Sensory and Consumer Research group at IFF R&D. The position will
support development and implementation of state-of-the-art scent
vaporization, multisensory stimulation and biometric technologies at
IFF for a range of applications, including specific health & wellbeing
KPIs that address business needs.
Required Skills:
Minimum
– BS in Electrical/Computer Science Engineering
– Experience working with and integrating multiple hardware/software
platforms
– Strong programming background (MATLAB, Python, C++)
– Strong communication skills
Preferred
– MS in Electrical/Computer Science Engineering
– Experience conducting psychophysical/behavioral/
experiments
– In-depth knowledge of Multimedia Software/Hardware Systems/Auto CAD
– Coursework in chemistry, sensation and perception
– Experience in app/game development
