Position: Senior Art Director (UX)
Summary:
Comcast is growing a design team focused on delivering a game-changing
mobile experience that extends the current Xfinity line of products and services.
We’re looking for a UX designer like you to help us build and deliver new mobile
products. You will work the front lines of the design cycle, be instrumental in
articulating the overall user experience, and will ultimately drive the translation of
those decisions into cohesive, well-thought out deliverables. We need self-
starters who take the ball and run with it, contribute heavily to design
conversations, and geek out on design.
The Senior Art Director, User Experience (UX)

services for the biggest multi-media company in the U.S. We’re looking for a
creative visionary with a passion for mobility, entertainment and technology to
join our team to lead ideation, strategy and concept for cutting edge mobile tools
and services.
About You:
You love interaction and interface design and have a passion for
entertainment, technology and the latest mobile products and services.
You think about holistic experiences and how they fit into a grand eco-
system.
You have exceptional visual and product design skills, and are a master of
color, composition, form and story.
You can ensure consistent, unified user experience across all platforms by
basing decisions on industry standard methodologies, user research and
adhering to visual language and style guides.
You generate deliverables such as user personas, user journeys,
experience maps, software diagrams, wireframes, task flows and other
conceptual frameworks that support and describe the product experience.
You can capture and translate complex business and user requirements
into design parameters.
You have the ability to lead while still being hands on because you can
“think and do”.
You’re great at solving complex problems and enjoy the challenge of
simplifying lots of data.
You are a collaborative, self-directed, expert communicator, who can
easily liaison across multiple teams and disciplines.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in UX for mobile and web (service design
experience a plus)
Experience designing for Android 4+ (Lollipop experience a huge plus)
A portfolio that demonstrates interaction and visual design capability for
consumer experiences across a variety of devices (phone, tablet, TV,
web) and interaction patterns (touch, voice)
Eloquent verbal/written communication & presentation skills, with the
ability to successfully articulate design concepts and rationale to your
team and various stakeholders.
Thrives as an essential part of a fast-paced design team. Someone who
can anticipate the logical next step and takes initiative without needing an
excess of given direction.
Fluency with common design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud/CS,
OmniGraffle, Axure, Keynote, etc.).
Prior experience designing effectively within an Agile process is a big plus.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Front End Design (prototyping skills a
plus)
BA/BS in fine arts, graphic arts, human factors or related field

to deliver solid work in a deadline-driven environment.
