Position: Senior UX Designer / Principal UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer
The Comcast UX team is seeking a passionate and innovative Senior Designer
with knowledge of user-centered design principles and a “don’t make me think”
understanding of usability to concept and create visual design UX solutions
across multiple platforms such as web and mobile while collaborating cross-
functionally to deliver world class customer experiences.
Deliver production-ready UX visual designs in alignment with overarching
business and UX goals
Rapidly drive progress of existing work (experience designs, UX guides,
information architecture, visual designs) to project completion
Collaborate with UX team in ideation and concept explorations throughout
projects lifecycles facilitating and driving UX solutions, discussions and
planning while maintaining project oversight, until project completion
Articulate and track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies and
risks as well as communicate progress, issues and accomplishments to
UX team
Tracks and projects time for assigned tasks such as concept sketches,
rough wire frames or flows, visual design comps, rapid prototyping/demos,
presentations, logos, icons, mood boards and assist in the creation of
associated mitigation plans, while following prescribed process and best
practices
Serve as liaison between UX team members, identifying and participating
in UX specific project visual designs; communicate regularly with
Engineering and Product teams
Serve as a mentor and coach and contribute to the growing library of
knowledge around User-Centered Design, through the products
developed and best practice research
Qualifications:
Degree in design, computer science, human factors or related field
Minimum 5 years experience designing for desktop and mobile interactive
experiences
Proven experience as design leader with ability to direct others through
creative process
Understanding of interaction design principles
Demonstrable fluency with Adobe Creative Suite design tools (Illustrator,
Photoshop, Fireworks, etc.)
Excellent collaborative skills with critical thinking and creative problem
solving abilities
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects in a
deadline-driven environment
Strong portfolio of solid web, mobile and multi-media required
