My name is Liss LaFleur and I am an interdisciplinary artist currently working out of Texas. I am seeking a collaborator and developer to build an iPad App for me using the Structure 3D scanner, possibly Skanect, and Structure’s open SDK for a new project called HEROINES. Some previous knowledge or interest in 3D scanning is helpful but not necessary. Must have knowledge of building iOS Ipad applications, and working with open SDK systems.

The app will have two main functions: one for production, and the other for reflection or viewing. This app would ideally be similar to both the Structure APP and the Structure SCAN APP on the IPad with some variances. These scans are about the process of getting an unrecognizable human scan (relationship between me scanning and the performer delivering lines), and NOT about getting a completed, perfect, scan of a figure or object. There is room for playing with distortion or additional variances also. I need to be able to spend time capturing the scan, move closer and further away from the object or person without an error message popping up, and record the scanning process as a movie as well as end up with a 3D file. I’d also like to change the colors of the depth scan if possible to hues of pinks/ purples/ yellows.
I’m willing to pay someone two installments of $500 and provide you with a structure scanner and Ipad to get a working prototype for my scanning process up and running. If interested, this is an ongoing project with the potential for major development and more funding down the line. I’d like to have a working prototype functioning by this summer.
