Laboratory Art Residency is devoting its Fall session to interactive art projects. We are currently accepting applications for 1-3 month residencies between September and November 2016, with applications dueJune 3rd, 2016. Our current call is for artists creating and exploring interactive art. We generally consider “interactive art” to be artwork that reactions to people or live date, and we tend to focus on works that directly respond to the viewer.
We’re offering 1-3 month residencies, and we’ll provide you with a room to live in (see attached photo), studio space to work with, equipment, expertise, and (provided you have work authorization in the United States) a $200/month stipend. If you know any artists working with or interested in interactive art, please share this incredible opportunity.
