dotdotdash is an interactive design & production studio specialized in cutting-edge experiences. Our work lives within integrated campaigns, live events, retail channels, and entertainment parks.
We are looking for an experienced TouchDesigner developer for a contract-to-hire position. The immediate project is a media control solution for retail spaces. The system will be controlled through a custom web portal. The TouchDesigner machines will communicate with the online database to download and sync media to multiple locations domestically. This individual will work in a project team consisting of a Web Developer, UI/UX Designer, Asset Artist, Project Manager, and Technical Director.
This individual should be:
-Fluent in TouchDesigner networks
-Experienced in systems design
-Experienced with 3rd party hardware integration
-Knowledgeable about commercial hardware controllers like Crestron
-Have experience with APIs and database communication
-Experience with Python
-Able to work well on a team

At the very least this project requires the individual to be present in Portland at the dotdotdash studio for the project kick-off and wrap. The individual will be the TouchDesigner tech lead for installs in LA and NY.
Big ups for having knowledge about Flask server, Node.js or SQLite modules.
