CommonBond is seeking a User Experience Intern for the fall semester. In this position for academic credit,

you will have the opportunity to shadow a nimble startup team practicing Agile/SCRUM product development

processes, facilitate and lead user testing sessions, and complete his/her own “service design” project. You

will also learn many aspects of User Experience alongside our Product Design Team, to translate business

ideas into beautiful, usable applications.

The UX Intern will:

 Help source and and facilitate user testing

 Learn consistent bug/UX monitoring through FullStory

 Map borrower application touchpoints, transactional emails, nudge emails, and outbound touches

 Evaluate the experience for borrowers and cosigners who are refinancing and identify opportunities

for driving business value through improving the existing experience

Job Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

 Demonstrated interest in Product/UX/service design

 Demonstrated interest in psychology, behavioral economics, and technology

 Experience with data analysis and design

 Comfortable leading interviews and testing sessions

 A curious and motivated problem solver

 Strong written and verbal communicator

To be considered for this position, you must meet the requirements listed below:

  • Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field
  • Must have the authorization to work in the US
  • Must be able to work on site at our offices in Manhattan
  • Available a minimum of 2 days during academic semesters and full time during summer
