I wanted to let you know about the Live/Work Residency my Institution has created
We have raised funds for our residency, furnished it and are ready to open our doors February 2018

Over the course of the 2 to 9month live/work program starting in 2018, residents will be invited to define and pursue a project or research focused on expanding research (knowledge) and creative practice with immersive media and creative technology.To encourage diversity, unique partnerships, and innovation, the parameters for the residency are wide: we are looking for those interested in continuing or expanding their practice using emerging technology and presenting their work to audiences in New Rochelle and New York City.
Residents will not have a full-time commitment and are free to continue their academic work, freelance work and other projects.
(the residency is live/work there are 3 rooms in the apartment and a shared live space and shared studio shop for the residents with VR / Digi fab equipment. It is 25 minutes on the Metro North Line from Grand Central Station, the residency is above the train station)
