MICRO: DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRAMS MANAGER
Hours flexible up to full-time, NYC
As MICRO’s Development and Programs Manager, your skills are perfectly honed to oversee the development of our growing museum fleet.
From drafting communications with current and prospective funders to tracking relationships, identifying new revenue streams, and designing fundraising, to producing materials for MICRO’s media, marketing, and communications needs, you are a highly organized ninja with a flair for complicated spreadsheets and calendars, excellent copywriting skills, and a keen attention to detail.
We’re looking for someone personable and articulate; a talented communicator with an evident passion for what MICRO is building. This position will suit someone with a lot of drive. We’re a small team, and you’ll be working across lots of tasks. If you’re the right candidate, you will have the potential to have flexibility over your hours once you’ve demonstrated that you can communicate and keep all your swords in the air. MICRO: OPERATIONS PROJECT MANAGER
Hours flexible up to part or full-time, NYC
As MICRO’s Operations Project Manager, your organizational superpowers will oversee the operations that drive our growing fleet of six-foot-tall museums. You will make sure that MICRO HQ’s office and studio space run smoothly.
Spreadsheets? You love them. From ordering and tracking inventory through to balancing budgets and managing MICRO’s day-to-day operations, you are an expert juggler who is excited to help build the systems that will support MICRO as we grow.
Do you have a background in a bustling office? Have you worked as a production associate, or overseen projects with lots of moving parts? If you’re a hyper-organized, self-motivated doer who loves to streamline processes and wants to work with beautiful museums, Project Manager at MICRO is your dream job.

MICRO: FABRICATOR
Part-time/Contract, NYC
As MICRO’s in-house Fabricator your high quality fabrication superpowers will help outfit, maintain, and drive our growing fleet of six-foot-tall museums.
You will make sure that MICRO’s museums are beautifully built and running perfectly. From masterfully operating drills, drivers, and dremels through to applying graphics on Corian, you are a Jack, Jill or Jungle Cat of all fabrication materials, techniques, and power tools, who is excited to help MICRO as we grow.
Hours are flexible, beginning at 8-16 hours (1-2) days per week. Pre-arranged weeks of full time work may be available. NYC based.

MICRO: THE MUSEUM FLEET TEAM
Part-time/Contract, NYC
MICRO is assembling a team to help us transport, install, and maintain tiny science museums. You’ll be installing museums in the field in places ranging from libraries to civic centers, at events and… all over!
You’ll be doing basic exhibit maintenance, checking in on and cleaning the museums, interfacing with our venue partners, and giving the occasional tour, because you can’t stand near a MICRO museum and not attract some curious attention.
Do you have fabrication, model-building, or installation experience? Are you a set builder or theater tech wiz? We want to hear from you.
Must be based in NYC and have an active drivers license.
