VR/AR Studio Manager
VR/AR Studio Manager Production in Independent AR/VR Production Company (Part Time)
New Reality Co., the creative studio behind the critically-acclaimed virtual reality experiences Giant and
Tree, is searching for a highly-organized, motivated, and enthusiastic part time VR/AR Studio Manager.
She or he will have the opportunity to take part in a high-profile team at the cutting-edge of interactive
content, with a team that is producing award-winning immersive experiences made possible by
collaborations with many notable names in art, technology, film and new media.
Partially based in New York, partially based in Los Angeles, New Reality Co. has carved out a major
footprint in the cinematic VR world for their blend of multisensory VR and social and environmental
good.
The companies VR projects have show in over 100 festivals around the world including, Sundance,
Cannes, Tribeca, Ted Conference, and World Economic Forum. The Studio Manager will have firsthand
access to the evolving ecosystem of virtual and augmented reality production, with insight and guidance
from company co-founders and industry veterans Winslow Porter and Milica Zec.
Responsibilities include:
– Social media and newsletters
– Preparing marketing materials for festivals and partners
– Writing copy for decks and marketing materials
– Basic layouts using InDesign, Photoshop, Google Slides
– Writing grants and applications (experience a bonus, but not required)
– General studio management
Requirements:
– Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
– Proficiency Adobe suite
– Excellent writing skills
– Strong sense of good visual aesthetics
– Team player
– Ability to absorb new information quickly and adapt easily to new tasks
– Enjoys making Spotify playlists….in actual reality
