Our team is mostly split across NYC and the San Francisco Bay Area, but we’ve worked with team members all over the world.

The NYC MICRO Studio is located in a wheelchair accessible building with ramp access. The nearest wheelchair accessible subway station is the J/M station at Flushing Avenue.

EXHIBITION PRODUCT MANAGER
Full-time. MICRO HQ , Bushwick, Brooklyn.
The Exhibition Product Manager will run the design process for MICRO’s growing fleet of six-foot-tall museums, coordinating with MICRO’s design director and a team of awesome contract designers and content creators. From managing fabricators to ensuring MICRO’s museum fleet is running seamlessly and scaling MICRO’s manufacturing pipelines to meet demand, you are a Jill, Jack, or Jungle Cat of management, design, and fabrication who is excited to oversee MICRO’s growth.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Full-time. MICRO HQ , Bushwick, Brooklyn.
As MICRO’s Development Manager, you will be activating MICRO’s fundraising and development initiatives in coordination with MICRO’s senior staff to build the future of museums and public spaces.
From running conversations with MICRO’s diverse partners to ensure high-touch responses to writing and proofreading grants, proposals, and partnership materials, you’re a highly organized human with excellent written skills, rapid and strategic email responses, a flair for calendars and a keen attention to detail.
We’re looking for someone personable and articulate; a talented communicator with experience across written materials and an evident passion for what MICRO is building.

OFFICE MANAGER
Part to Full Time. MICRO HQ , Bushwick, Brooklyn.
As MICRO’s Office Manager, you’ll be in charge of the day-to-day operations that keep MICRO’s community thriving, and the museum fleet growing.
From bookkeeping and running payroll and HR policies to keeping the office stocked and the team scheduled and coordinated, you’ll have the bird’s eye view of operations that ensure MICRO runs smoothly.
This position will suit someone who thrives on responsibility and coordination, a proactive team member with solid bookkeeping experience who wants to grow MICRO’s mission to reach new audiences everywhere with free museum experiences.
Experience with QuickBooks Online is a requirement. This position has part and full time potential – please specify your preference in your cover letter. Pay commensurate with experience.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Project-based. Part time. NYC or remote.
We are looking for a jungle cat to work with our team on the redesign of our second museum series, the Perpetual Motion Museum. Design will include layout of copy and graphics on the museum itself, generation of new graphics to illustrate our content, and layout for printing graphics on 3M, cut vinyl and dry transfer.
This is a part time contract with a swift timeline for interview and onboarding. Approximately 4-8 hours / week. Compensation will be based on experience.

MICRO: THE MUSEUM FLEET TEAM
Part-time/Contract, NYC
MICRO is assembling a team to help us transport, install, and maintain tiny science museums. You’ll be installing museums in the field in places ranging from libraries to civic centers, at events and… all over!
You’ll be doing basic exhibit maintenance, checking in on and cleaning the museums, interfacing with our venue partners, and giving the occasional tour, because you can’t stand near a MICRO museum and not attract some curious attention.
Do you have fabrication, model-building, or installation experience? Are you a set builder or theater tech wiz? We want to hear from you.
Must be based in NYC and have an active drivers license.
