CALL: SPACE on Ryder Farm Residency

Below is a call for an amazing residency just outside the city.  It’s on a gorgeous farm and the food they feed you is amazing and there is a lake and lots of property.  And very robust wifi.  You should apply! There’s even a family residency!  And they champion diversity in robust and important ways.  I hope you’ll considering applying – it’s a fantastic organization.

SPACE on Ryder Farm, a nonprofit residency program and organic farm located on the grounds of a 224-year-old family homestead in Putnam County, NY (about 90 minutes north of NYC), is accepting applications for Creative Residencies for artists of all stripes, activists, organizers and small groups; The Working Farm writers’ group for playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists; The Family Residency for working artist-parents and their children ages 3-12; Greenhouse Residencies for aspiring playwrights who have not had access to the professional theatre community through traditional means; and Institutional Residencies for 501c(3) organizations and incorporated ensembles. Applications for The Working Farm, The Family Residency, Creative Residencies and Institutional Residencies are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019. Applications for the Greenhouse Residency are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020.
