CALL: TransSCEND a new transdisciplinary Masters program at Drexel University

Dear NIME Community,

We’ve created a new Master of Science degree: TranSCEND (Transdisciplinary Science, Computing, and Engineering Design) at Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA). This unique program combines a deep foundation of technology with the creative, expressive, and collaborative exploration of design and making to best prepare students to be future industry leaders. Areas of study include music technology, creative robotics, interactive textiles, and immersive experiences.

TranSCEND is an intensive, full-time program emphasizing learning through real-world projects and collaborative experiences with world-class faculty. A key component of the program is experiential and applied learning through a 6-month graduate co-op (extended paid internship) with a partner company or organization.

To learn more about the program, visit drexeltranscend.org. Please direct any questions or inquiries to TranSCEND program manager, Jillian Reilly.

P.S. For those close to Philadelphia, our first TranSCEND Open House will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 5th at Drexel’s ExCITe Center. Click here to learn more about the event and register!
