EmotiBit Wearable Bio-Sensor Design Internship (Paid)
Connected Future Labs (based in New York City) is looking for an intern for Fall 2019/Winter 2020 to help launch EmotiBit (https://www.emotibit.com/), a wearable open-source sensor module that captures high-quality emotional, physiological, and movement data. Our goal is to democratize affective computing so that everyone, including researchers, artists, makers and educators can ask new questions about how internal context will shape our reality in the 21st century. You will be part of a small team and likely be involved in many aspects of the project including developing creative applications and demonstrations for the new technology, design, community building, crafting of a crowdfunding campaign, and creation of tutorials and documentation. In addition, you may be involved in ongoing projects in the lab spanning from biometrics, data science & machine learning to mixed reality and computer vision.
The intern that we’d love to talk to is excited to tackle challenging problems, learn new skills, and make the world a more exciting place by sensing signals from the body.

– Illustrator
– Final Cut or Premiere or similar
– Video / audio production
– Crowdfunding campaigns
