The temperature might not agree right now, but spring is right around the corner, and with it, the Spring 2022 semester of ONE School! Applications for the New York and Los Angeles cohorts are now open!
For those who haven’t been paying attention, ONE School is one of The One Club for Creativity’s strongest salvos in the battle to bring diversity to the advertising industry talent pipeline. Founded in 2020, this unapologetically Black portfolio program program has been making waves across the ad game — and this upcoming semester is the latest wave.
Over the course of 16 weeks, ONE School guides talented Black students who might not have considered a creative career in advertising. Top-level Black industry leaders, tutors, and mentors all come together to help students build a portfolio, while also providing them the tools to navigate a world where people who look like themselves aren’t common. And with 45+ agencies and other companies backing the the ONE School program, grads have plenty of opportunities to make their career moves. That’s how we’ve successfully graduated 84 Black creatives, with a 74% placement rate in over 39 creative departments at top agencies and brands in the industry!
