PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build compelling VR experiences from concept to code.
- Create exciting product demos using OpenBCI products.
- Design and develop user interfaces for single and multi-user applications.
- Test and release new front-end features focusing on customer experience.
- Wear many hats. OpenBCI is still a small company, so everyone has to get their hands dirty from time to time. Be comfortable stepping outside your role to help others.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You need to be a 3D designer and a programmer.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or design.
- 3+ years of professional experience in AR/VR application development.
- Experience with C#, Unity, Unreal Engine, Python and Javascript.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining VR/AR games and applications.
- Understanding of key design principles.
- Experience creating and using different 3D file types for game engines.
- Experience building AR/VR applications from storyboard to completion.
- Self-motivated and well-organized.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to identify and solve problems across teams and an open source community.
- A keen eye for detail and polish.
- A strong design sense.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with non-invasive, physiological data (EEG, EMG, ECG, EOG).
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Suite.
- Experience with C++.
