Role Purpose:
Savorly is seeking a paid Video Production Intern to join our team for Summer 2022.
The Social Media Team at Savorly is growing & we are looking for a video production intern. In this role, you will contribute to the voice of Savorly by assisting and leading the video production, bringing the savorly brand to life through video content. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who has a passion for film and is looking to build their portfolio with CPG and lifestyle content.
Savorly is a frozen appetizer brand but, more importantly, your perfect co-host for all occasions. At Savorly, we believe entertaining should be easy enough that you can (and want!) to do it often. So whether you are planning for a gathering next weekend or likes to be prepared for an impromptu at-home happy hour, our bites are a perfect one-step prep. Keep your favorites on hand and simply pop them in the oven to be occasion ready at a moment’s notice.
We are looking for an intern with video production skills interested in working in a creative startup setting. As an intern, you will be working under our Brand Marketing Manager to create video content. This is an internship for summer 2022, with the possibility of an extension if you are a good fit. This is a hybrid position (remote and in-person work).

Responsibilities

Assist/ lead video shoots (run camera, audio; set up lighting, etc.)

Back up and manage video footage.

Edit video/motion graphics projects in Premiere and After Effects (or preferred editing software)

Upload and manage content on our Youtube channel and website

Potentially could assist with podcast production and other media needs
Qualifications

Organized & highly attentive to detail

A self-starter with excellent communication skills

Preferred experience in the Adobe Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects or Imovie

Have a solid understanding of the theory and aesthetics of video editing, color correction, and audio production

Creative – willing to contribute ideas to the team

Strong familiarity and experience working with video equipment (calibration of cameras, audio tools, lighting, etc.)

Experience managing videos on Youtube

Ability to learn quickly, prioritize effectively, and deliver solid work on tight schedules

Have a strong online portfolio demonstrating video production skills
