Our longstanding client is a 10-year old, digital-first EdTech company with a 10-person design team and growing. Their impact is HUGE – over 8 million teachers – that’s 85% of all PreK-12 teachers in America! – are active users of their marketplace, which provides a platform for educators to buy and sell over 4M educational products online from each other, which in turn helps many more students (approximately 160M students, actually!) become the most supported, educated, and empowered humans they can be. The ripple effect of what you’re able to accomplish here is so positive and far-reaching.
They’re seeking two (2) Mid or Senior Product Designers:
- Mid or Sr Product Designer, Marketplace – This is an exciting opportunity for an ecommerce-savvy designer to have a huge impact on their flagship product (read: their biggest money-maker, so it’s got the most eyeballs and resources on it). You’ll be helping teachers use new ways to search, discover and filter from a treasure trove of content, and provide their students with high quality educational tools. A metrics-driven design approach and a keen eye for craft are key. If you’re a fullstack, perhaps slightly-UI-leaning product designer, this is a great role for you!
- Mid or Sr Product Designer, Easel – This team focuses on a web-based content editor tool for teachers that saves them hundreds of hours of work. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute nuanced UI design that will allow teachers to easily create high quality learning materials for their students. Features include drag and drop, filling in the blank, drawing tools, and importing audio and images. This is a great role for a full stack yet visual UI-leaning product designer with tooling experience, who wants to work alongside more experienced designers that will help you grow your craft.
