Dear ITP Students and Alum,
The Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) based out of Bronx Community College is currently looking for creative artists, technologists, educators, and scientists to grow their cohort of instructors.
STEP is looking to fill part-time teaching positions for the summer enrichment program starting July 5, as well as future teaching opportunities in the Fall Semester of 2022. These classes may be in person, or virtual.
STEP currently teaches classes in AP Computer Science, Creative Coding (p5.js, Vidcode), audio production, video production, and drones. STEP is looking to add classes including physical computing, wearables, game design, VR, biology, chemistry, and other interesting ideas. You can read more about the program at bccstep.com
BCC STEP, which is part of the Research Foundation at CUNY, is sponsored by the NYC Department of Education. The primary goal of STEP is to increase the number of historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged middle and high students to enter college and improve their participation rate in science, technology, and math.
