HACKATHON: Amazon Rainforest Hackathon

🌱 For the second year, Earth Hacks, Libelula, and Greenbug are teaming up to bring you AmazôniaHack!

🛰 This two-day hackathon will be hosted virtually on November 18-19, (10:00-17:00 BRT) in English and Portuguese and focus on challenges to combat deforestation in the Amazon rainforest co-designed by local organizations such as IBAMA, Imazon/MapBiomas, ICV, Kaniné and Meninas de Geo.

Earth Hacks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering hackers to generate innovative, actionable solutions to the climate crisis, through the hackathon innovation model. We focus on centering environmental justice in the tech space and lowering barriers to entry to traditional hackathon-related fields like computer science and innovation, while also providing training and opportunities in an educational space.
