Are you an undergraduate student seeking a peer community at NYU? Are you passionate about advancing positive change on the issues and in the communities that matter to you?
Make sure to apply to NYU’s Camp Changemaker! Taking place during spring break (March 18th-20th), participants of this introductory program will explore their strengths, develop leadership skills, and identify changemaking opportunities that advance their academic and career goals.
Participants will:
- Build self-awareness by surfacing, reflecting on, and applying their strengths
- Learn about different social change leadership models and movements
- Build community at NYU by meeting peers who share their passions and connecting with NYU staff that lead change-making initiatives
- Develop relationship-building skills through restorative practices
- Apply the skills and knowledge gained through the program by participating in a real-world simulation
- Gain exposure to different career pathways and post-graduate opportunities with a focus on social impact
