Games for Change Festival 2024 | Docent Request
About this Role:
Games for Change (G4C) is looking for volunteer Arcade Docents to support gaming (computer, console, mobile, and board based) and XR installations for the 2024 Games for Change Festival.
Available for one or more of the following days:
June 26 – Training/Load in day
June 27 and 28 – Festival/Loadout
Services:
Docents will support the Arcade Producer and Arcade Production Coordinator for the Awards Arcade which includes but is not limited to:

Training
-
Load in and out
-
Ensuring guests are checked-in

Communicating with staff for guest related issues

Facilitating experiences for a group of guests
-
Support and assist with guests getting set up on games and/or going in and out of headsets
-
Alerting the producer or coordinator of tech needs (charging headsets, controllers, ipads, and troubleshooting technical issues)

Managing project appointments via our Waitwhile booking system on tablets

Providing a positive experience
Perks:
