JOB: Urban Technology Professors at the University of Michigan

University of Michigan is running two concurrent searches for open rank professors, both tenure track and clinical/practice track, to join the core team of our Bachelor of Science in Urban Technology degree (90 sec degree explainer video).

The program will graduate its first batch of students in April of 2025. By that time we anticipate having ~200 students in the degree. It is an exciting time to join with growth ahead of us, but also a strong foundation that will be enriched and extended by the individuals who join through this search.

We are seeking candidates with expertise blending design, technology, and urban and geospatial analytics in unique ways. People with experience in strategic design and service design are strongly encouraged to apply. Also  You will join a dynamic group of faculty in the Urban and Regional Planning Program which also includes the Master of Urban and Regional Planning and Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning programs.

If you have questions about the roles or your potential contributions to Taubman, please contact me directly as the chair of the search committee. Bryan Boyer <bryanboyer@gmail.com>
