The Net Gala is an exclusive art event in New York City for the Cybersecurity, Software and greater Tech communities.
The theme for 2025 is
(SILENCE)
the infiltrations that are never known
What are the things that persist day to day that pose a threat to our technological advancement? What is happening behind the scenes that we will never know about? How does technology grow in a society plagued with distrust? We pose these questions to make you ask – what exactly are the infiltrations you never know? What is in the silence?
We invite artistic explorations of themes such as hidden malware, supply chain vulnerabilities, edge-case exploits, technological subversion, espionage, and the subtle power of misinformation. The Net Gala is able to support various mediums of art, so we encourage you to get creative.
Logistics:
Selected and participating artists will receive a payment for their work, as well as 3 total tickets to the event. We are unable to provide travel compensation for participating artists.
Submissions close Feb 10, 2025.
We will inform selected artists by Feb 16, 2025. Pieces must be completed and coordinated with the Net Gala Team by March 28, 2025.
