Year 12 Open Call for Incubator Members is now LIVE
We are excited to share that we are now accepting applications for Year 12 at NEW INC
Applications close Monday, March 3, 2025.
This special cohort year will mark NEW INC’s twelfth run as the first museum-led cultural incubator and our return to the New Museum. In our first purpose-built home, our members will be able to access creative production resources including fabrication and media labs.
We are Calling to: An intersectional community of artists, creative technologists, studios, collectives and entrepreneurs across a range of disciplines. Year 12 Tracks include:
- Art & Code: Redefining cultural and digital landscapes through artist-led research and projects, supported by Patrick J. McGovern Foundation and in partnership with Rhizome
- Creative Science: Employing modes of scientific inquiry to advance creativity and storytelling, supported by Simons Foundation
- Extended Realities: Expanding the artistic potential for technology to blur the physical and digital worlds, in partnership with Onassis ONX and EY Metaverse Lab
- Social Architecture: Reconstructing social and public space through design and architecture, supported by Jonathan D. and Mark C. Lewis Foundation
- Cooperative Studies: Designing care-based models for collective futures.
Hybrid Offerings: NEW INC operates out of New York City, but participants are based around the world. We will continue to offer select programming in a hybrid format throughout next year and welcome remote participation.
