Graduate Student Digital Scholarship Specialist
New York University Libraries’ Digital Scholarship Services department (DSS) is seeking a part-time (10-20 hours per week) Digital Scholarship Graduate Student Specialist to collaborate on research projects, program development, and provide faculty, students, and staff at NYU with technical and service support for digital scholarship.
Duties include:
Duties include marketing and promotion, conducting exploratory research, providing technical support, writing documentation for DSS projects and services, leading workshops on digital humanities tools and methods, and assisting with consultation and outreach for DSS services.
Preference will be given to candidates with strong communication skills, an understanding of the research process, and an interest in exploring technologies used in digital library and/or digital humanities initiatives.
