There is an exciting opportunity for universities and schools to participate in the Games for Change Student Challenge 2025/2026 – a global competition where students create original games inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goalsand apply their game design skills to address real-world issues.
The program is open to students aged 18-25 from both creative and subject disciplines, with opportunities to collaborate across fields. The winning teams will receive a $10,000 scholarship, prizes, and international recognition.

How to Participate?
- Faculty and staff can integrate the Student Challenge themes into courses or projects, host a G4C Student Challenge game jam, or mentor student teams.
- Students can join individually or in teams, access free game design courses, and submit their games by April 2026 for a chance to compete globally.
The Student Challenge will officially launch in September 2025, but we’re sharing this with you early so you can plan ahead and explore how your institution might get involved.
