About the role
I’m hiring an organized, resourceful assistant to work directly with
me and help keep my work and personal logistics running smoothly in a
fast-moving startup environment. You’ll take ownership of practical
details, communicate clearly, and keep tasks moving through
completion.
What you’ll do
• Coordinate meetings and appointments, manage scheduling, and keep
the calendar accurate.
• Research and arrange travel, reservations, and services within agreed budgets.
• Track tasks and follow-ups, organize documents, and draft clear,
concise emails.
• Handle occasional NYC errands, purchases, returns, and personal
administrative tasks.
• Help with lightweight operations projects, such as coordinating
vendors, comparing options, and preparing meeting notes.
What I’m looking for
• Reliable follow-through, attention to detail, and discretion with
confidential information.
• Good written communication and judgment about when to act
independently or ask a question.
• Comfort with Gmail, Google Calendar, spreadsheets, and learning new tools.
• Ability to work in person in Manhattan for the agreed weekly blocks.
• Evidence that you have organized something and seen it through.
Relevant examples can come from employment, volunteering, coursework,
or organizing events.
Prior assistant experience is helpful. Applicants from all educational
backgrounds are welcome, including students and alumni.
