FRiFF is is an open competitive film festival focused on aerial cinema created from the perspective of flying cameras, also commonly known as drones. Festival participation is open to anyone around the globe. Entry fees are low. Over $10,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to filmmakers of winning selections. Deadline for submissions is October 15, 2015.
One category that we’re particularly excited about is Student Films. We are encouraging students to enter a 5 minute or less “drone film.” This can be anything drone related, such as a short story on how a student is using a drone, beautiful aerial footage or a fun narrative project. The sky’s the limit.
The festival screening will take place in San Francisco on November 19th. Filmmakers don’t need to be present to win.
