Ginny Huo is a multidisciplinary artist who has been exhibiting works for over 10 years. Her work has been exhibited in multiple exhibition spaces such as the LeRoy Neiman Center for the 2018 Uptown Triennial, NY; Wroclaw Contemporary Museum, Wroclaw, Poland; Conner Contemporary, Washington D.C.; Tapir Gallery, Berlin, Germany; CUAC Contemporary Art Center, Salt Lake City; Gallery Korea, Korea Cultural Service of New York, NY; SOHO20 Chelsea Gallery, NY; Media Art Biennale, Wroclaw, Poland. She has also participated in numerous art residencies such as Queens Museum Art in Action Academy, New York, NY (2016) ; American Academy in Rome, Visiting Artist, Rome, Italy (2015); Takt Kunstprojektraum, Artist in Resident, Berlin, Germany (2015); Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME (2015). Her work is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art Library Collection.
She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree at the Rinehart School of Sculpture at the Maryland Institute College of the Arts in Baltimore, MD. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. Her studio is located in Harlem where she also works as the Expanding the Walls/Youth Programs Coordinator at The Studio Museum in Harlem.
