We’re looking for a highly creative social media intern to help create and implement campaigns across our social media channels: Twitter, Instagram, Newsletter, and Medium.As a Spate Social Media Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the co-founder of Spate and help define and articulate our brand’s voice.
We are searching for a student who is available to be at our Headquarters in NYC a minimum of two full days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit and share engaging social content daily
- Help manage content writers as well as write content, leveraging Spate data
- Analyze social media performance metrics and communicate findings to leadership
Qualifications:
- Experience in social media/marketing
- Knack for storytelling
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized mindset
- Understand new trends happening in social media and content creation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the beauty/fashion or food industry
- Experience with video production and photo editing
- Managed social media for a consumer-facing brand (beauty industry, a plus)
We’re looking for someone who is ready to help cement the foundation to take Spate to the next level.
As a Spate Business Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to entrepreneurship, operations, and product/business development. You will work cross-functionally across the company to support Spate’s core business while improving existing workflows and processes.
We are searching for a student who is available to be at our Headquarters in NYC a minimum of two full days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Operations Manager to ensure Spate has the resources needed to grow to the next level
- Help manage global trendspotters to ensure data quality
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to improve the efficiency of operations/engineering team
- Collaborate with operations/engineering to ensure that data is accessible and well-defined
Qualifications:
- Effective at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable taking on responsibility
- Meticulous and organized, with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated record of entrepreneurial achievement and/or leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the beauty/fashion or food industry
- Experience collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large data sets
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn SQL, Python
