Description
The Learning Design Aide will support the operations of the Educational Technology team and the Office of Information Technology at the Silver School of Social Work, with a focus on course/lesson design, audio/video production/editing, supporting professional development workshops and online learning courses. The Learning Design Aide will report to the Associate Director of Educational Technology. The applicant should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently/proactively on assigned projects. Periodic performance reviews will be conducted by the supervisor. Position to commence September 2020 and end December 15, 2020. Option to renew in the Spring 2021 subject to work-study funding, performance review, and work eligibility.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Recording and editing faculty lectures and events
- Supporting professional development workshops for staff and faculty
- Assisting with course design/updates
- Supporting online course meetings
The hours for this position will vary – ideally the candidate will be able to commit to a 20 hour/week schedule during normal business hours (9am-5pm) with potential for some evening work. Work schedules may be designed to accommodate an applicant’s academic schedule.
