JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a talented student in design to join our team and help develop the code and design for an exciting digital sandbox. This innovative tool will be used by young students with dyslexia to enhance their multisensory experience with words, thus accelerating and improving their learning journey.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end web development technologies Proficiency in design softwares.
- Ability to empathize with users and design solutions that cater to their needs. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience with accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Familiarity with educational technology. Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement user-friendly interfaces for the digital sandbox.
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end code to ensure smooth functionality and accessibility.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the design.
- Ensure that the design and code meet the specific needs and requirements of students with dyslexia.
COMPENSATION
This is a paid opportunity at the standard hourly rate. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
