INTERN: ONX Curatorial Intern

It empowers creators with cutting-edge technologies, artistic excellence, and financial sustainability. The program offers capacity-building, incubation, seed funding, and exhibition opportunities for artists worldwide. 

Internship Overview:

Onassis ONX is looking for an Curatorial Intern to support the Onassis ONX Program Director and Program Manager on curatorial, operational, and program projects. Responsibilities will include working on public programming, exhibitions, marketing, and community engagement. This is a great position for applicants interested in how arts organizations operate to support contemporary artists and publics. An interest in digital and media arts is a plus but is not required.   

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the ONX Program Director and Program Manager in their daily tasks and project management.
  • Assist in organizing schedules, coordinating logistics, and maintaining efficient studio operations.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of events, exhibitions, and public programs, ensuring smooth operations and engaging experiences for our audiences.
  • Assist in managing logistics for events, including studio arrangements, catering, and equipment setup.
  • Assist in the research of projects related to Onassis ONX.
  • Research and coordinate the press list of Onassis ONX members.

Position Details:

  • Compensation: Credit and a Stipend of $1,200 a month is provided and paid bi-weekly
  • Schedule: Two days/week with occasional nights and weekends for public programs. Remote work possible one day per week. 
  • Location: Onassis ONX Office, 394 Broadway. 
  • Start Date: April 13, 2026
