Summer Gig: Creative Tech & Generative AI Video Consultant / Tutor
Location: Amagansett, NY / New York City (Hybrid / In-Person preferred)
Compensation: Competitive / Hourly (Based on experience)
Duration: Flexible summer hours
Overview:
Looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking film or creative technology student/grad to provide personalized, hands-on tutoring and strategic insight into the rapidly evolving landscape of generative AI video. The ideal candidate is both tracking the news and ideally experimenting with modern AI models to rethink traditional production workflows.
What You’ll Do:
- Tool Deep-Dives: Walk through current capabilities, limitations, and best practices for leading generative video models (e.g., Runway Gen-3, Luma Dream Machine, Sora, Midjourney-to-video pipelines, etc.).
Requirements:
- Current student or recent graduate in Film, VFX, Animation, Interactive Telecommunications, or a related creative technology field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical machine-learning concepts accessibly to non-technical people
- Proximity to the East End of Long Island or Manhattan for occasional in-person sessions is a major plus, though hybrid setups are welcome.
